It is learn that, by this week, we will be able to see the baby (embryo) quite clear. I can even see very little and tiny white dot beating (as you can see from the photo, very small white dot). Doctor tried to detect the heart beats by using the ultrasound machine and it is quite weak but can be detected.

According to WebMD, the baby is starting to look like a taqdpole, about 0.08 inches to 0.16 inches. The eyes and limb buds are forming (prior to this, heart, brain, spinal cord, muscle and bones are beginning to develop in week 5)

My wife also told me she has lost weight. I checked on the MD’s site again and it said it is normal.

For mom-to-be, you may have gained a few pounds by now, but if you’re experiencing morning sickness, you may have lost weight, which is also normal.

Doctor said if she tends to sleep more is normal and it is good for the baby. Doctor advise her continue to consume Folic Acid and Allylestrenol Turinal (to strengthen the pregnancy).

Today consultation cost is RM110 which is cheaper compare to the first time visit in last week, RM160.

Last week Friday, my wife’s used a pregnancy tester and got a positive result. She wasn’t too sure as it showed very weak, light pink color line in the test result. From the previous doctor’s advice, this showed it is still very early to confirm that she is pregnant.

Today, she told me she is getting a little pain in her stomach part, nearby uterus and I was a little bit anxious and quickly sent her to see women specialist.

You might think we are a bit too much, but it is actually not. Last year, we managed to conceive a baby but due to her weak body, the baby can’t grow and eventually we lost the baby. This time we rather very careful and don’t want to have this sad thing happen again.

What we predict is true enough, doctor said she is pregnant and the baby is about 5 weeks old.

Doctor gave her Allylestrenol Turinal to strengthen the pregnancy. Doctor ask her to take 2 times a day for 1 week. We will returning to see the doctor in Christmas eve again. We will continue to pray on daily basis and ask God to help to protect this baby.

Turinal is an orally active product being many time more effective in maintaining pregnancy than progesterone. Its pregnancy-maintaining effect cab be explained by its placentotropic activity. Trophoblast’s endocrine activity is increased, inadequate placental function is stimulated by Turinal which is particularly helpful in cases where pregnancy is terminated by hormonal dysfunction. Turinal does not product material virilisation or foetal masculinization. It does not inhibit gonadal or adrenal function, nor does it exert any influence on electrolyte balance or cause gastrointestinal distress.

Application depends on the condition, either 2-3 times daily with 1 tablet until the pain/symptoms disappear. It is good for those who are threatened abortion, habitual abortion, and threatening premature delivery.
